Terms of use
The rules for using CEF Radar, in plain words.
In short
- Free service. Information, not advice.
- Check the original document before acting.
- You must be 16 or older.
- Do not copy our text in bulk or misuse the developer interface.
- We may change or stop the service with notice.
- Polish law applies; if you are a consumer, your home country's mandatory protections still apply.
Who provides the service, and how do you reach us?
The service is provided by Mateusz Duliński, [not yet provided]. Email: hello@cefradar.com. Business registered in Poland, tax number (NIP) 8792681125.
Complaints go to the same address. We answer within 14 days.
Is this advice?
No. It is information.
Nothing on this site, in our emails, in the developer interface or from our assistant server is investment, tax, legal or accounting advice. It is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything.
No adviser relationship
Using the site does not make us your adviser. We do not know your situation. We are not a registered investment adviser or broker.
Read automatically from public filings
All facts come from public filings at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, read automatically. Filings can be late, amended, withdrawn or misread, so numbers and dates can be wrong. The original document is the one that counts.
Dates come from filings and can change
Buy-back deadlines, meeting dates and record dates come from the fund's own documents. They are not deadlines we set, and a fund can extend, change or withdraw them. Check with your broker.
Independent
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the regulator, any fund, fund company, adviser, investor or broker. The regulator's name and the name of its public filing system are used only to say where the documents come from. Fund and company names are used only to identify them.
Nobody pays us for coverage
We receive no payment from any fund, sponsor or investor for covering them. If that ever changes, this page will say so.
The past does not predict
Past discounts, payouts or investor outcomes do not predict results. Funds can lose value, and borrowing makes gains and losses bigger.
Alerts can pause
We may pause or stop alerts. Do not rely on an alert as your only reminder of a date.
What is the service?
- Reading the site, without an account.
- A free account.
- Email alerts about the funds and investors you choose.
- The optional Monday summary.
- A personal key for the developer interface.
- The assistant server, which lets a program such as Claude or ChatGPT read the site.
- A calendar feed of dates to know.
- Downloads of lists as spreadsheet files.
What do you need, and what must you not do?
You need a current browser with cookies enabled for signing in, and a working email address. For the developer interface you need a program that can make secure web requests.
You must not send unlawful content, try to break into the service, use another person's email address, or resell or redistribute our text.
Your account
Your account is created when you request a sign-in link and click the button on the confirmation page. That click is your acceptance of these terms.
You may end it at any time with "Delete my account" on your alerts page. We may end it for abuse, with notice to your address.
You must be at least 16 years old.
Alerts and notices about your account are part of the service and go to your account address. Stop alerts for one fund with the Stop link in the email, or all of them on your alerts page.
The Monday summary is optional and separate. You choose it with a checkbox, and every summary has a one-click Stop link.
Free plan, Founder seats and future paid plans
Today everything is free. The free plan sends alerts the next day for up to three funds. The first readers to sign up get a Founder seat. Paid plans are described on the Plans section and are not on sale yet.
A Founder seat means: everything in Pro, for as long as we run the service, tied to this address, not transferable. Features may change as described under Changes below. Nothing is bought and no chance is involved.
Changes to the service
We may change features for a valid reason, with notice on the site and by email. If a change materially reduces what you get, you may end your account. Your information stays available through the download link until then.
Who owns what?
Our text and design: all rights reserved.
The compiled data (facts, dates, document numbers) in our downloads, developer interface and calendar: free to reuse under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence. Credit it as "CEF Radar (cefradar.com), data from public filings at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission".
The database as a whole is protected in the European Union by the database right (Directive 96/9/EC; the Polish Act of 27 July 2001 on the protection of databases).
Fund and company names are used only to identify them. Automated readers and AI assistants may use the site provided the source is credited.
Developer interface and assistant server
Your key is personal and not transferable. The free plan allows 100 requests a day on the JSON interface and 2,000 a day on the assistant server, per address. Over the limit you get a "try later" answer.
Allowed: personal use, research, internal tools, and AI assistants that show results to their user with the source link.
Not allowed: redistributing our sentences in bulk, building a competing dataset from our text, presenting output as our advice, or reading the site outside the interface at scale.
The interface is provided as is, without warranty, and our liability is limited to what the law allows. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer or our liability for intentional harm.
We give 30 days' notice before a breaking change. Keys are revoked for abuse. Security reports go to hello@cefradar.com.
Complaints and disputes
Send complaints to hello@cefradar.com with your email address and what went wrong. We answer within 14 days.
If you are a consumer in the European Union you can also turn to your municipal consumer ombudsman or ask for mediation by the Trade Inspection.
Polish law applies, without depriving consumers of the mandatory protections of their home country. The language of these terms is English.
Changes to these terms
We will email account holders before a material change takes effect and show the date below. When the text changes you accept the new version the next time you sign in.
Last changed: Sept 16, 2026. What changed: First published version.
